Business Office Recognized for Award

The Board of Trustees is proud to honor the WISD Business Office for excellence in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting for the 13^th year in a row.  During the October 13 meeting, the school board presented the members of the Business Office with certificates of recognition for receiving the Certificate of Achievement from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.   

The Certificate is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.  It is based on high standards which include demonstrating a constructive “spirit of disclosure” clearly communicating the district’s financial story.
