Weatherford High School senior
signs with Texas A&M
Weatherford High School
senior, Zack Britton, signed a national letter of intent on Wednesday,
officially announcing his plans to play baseball at Texas A&M
University starting next year.
Britton, 17, has played at WHS for three years. Last year he pitched
in 61 games with an ERA of 3.06, and 6 wins, 2 losses and 3 saves. He
also had 86 strikeouts and 32 Walks, and gave up only 56 hits.
Following in the footsteps of his family, Britton has two older
brothers who play baseball for Stephen F. Austin University. He is
the son of Greg and Martha Britton of Weatherford, TX.
