WHS Baseball Team Advances to Area Playoffs

WEATHERFORD - After overcoming San Angelo Central in a three game series last weekend, the WHS Varsity Baseball Team has been named Bi-District Champs and is advancing to the second round of the playoffs. 

The Varsity Kangaroos won the first game 7-2, lost the second game 3-2, but came back and won game three 4-0.

This Friday the Roos will meet El Paso Socorro on the mound in Seminole, TX for the Area Playoffs.  Game 1 will begin Friday at 4:00 P.M., followed by game 2 on Saturday at noon, and, if needed, game 3 will be 30 minutes after game 2.
