Weatherford High
School senior signs with Howard County Junior College
WEATHERFORD – Weatherford
High School senior, Austin
Taylor “Mo” Beesley, signed a letter of intent on Thursday, March 30,
officially announcing his plans to play baseball at Howard
County
Junior College starting next year.
Beesley, 18, has played at WHS for four years. An all-around player,
he can fill most any position on the field. Beesley plays both
in-field, out-field, as well pitcher for the WHS Varsity Baseball
Team.
Proving his worth both on the field and in the
classroom, in 2005 Beesley was picked as one of Weatherford’s
All-State Academic players. Currently he is a member of the Varsity
Tennis Team, Roo Crew, the 2005 Homecoming Court, Dodge Ball Club, and
prom committee. Beesley will also be recognized on April 11 as a 2006
Texas Scholar.
Howard County Junior College is located in Big Springs,
Texas. Beesley, the son of Brent and Cathy Beesley of Weatherford,
has signed as a pitcher for the 2006-2007 academic year.
