	May 18, 2005   WHS Baseball Team to Play in Third Round of State Playoffs After dropping the first game to El Paso Montwood on Friday night, the baseball team won two games on Saturday that gave them a spot in the third round of state playoffs.

The WHS Baseball team is off to the third round of state playoffs in Abilene after defeating El Paso Montwood in a three game series. The Roos came back on Saturday to win their first game 10-4 and the second game 8-1.

Lubbock Monterey will be the next opponent for the Roos.  The third round of state playoffs will begin this Friday, May 20 at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene.  Game one will be at 7:00 p.m. and game two will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
