Mark Cook Named Crockett Elementary
Assistant Principal
The Weatherford Independent School
District Board of Trustees approved the appointment of the new
Crockett Elementary Assistant Principal, Mark Cook. Mr. Cook
will replace Racheal Rife who was recently named principal of Curtis
Elementary.
Mr. Cook has been serving as
Administrative Intern to Tison Middle School and recently received his
Masters of Educational Administration from Tarleton State University.
A 1989 graduate of the University of North Texas, with a Bachelors of
Business Administration in Finance and Banking, Mr. Cook has many
years of classroom experience. His teaching career began in 1986
at Graham High School where he taught Advanced Placement Statistics,
Algebra I A/B and Informal Geometry. Mr. Cook also was involved
in coaching football, basketball, softball, and track. He then
moved to Weatherford ISD in 2002 and began teaching at Hall Middle
School. In 2003, he transferred to Tison Middle School where he
now serves.
Crockett Elementary was built in 1964
and serves 548 students. With it's TEA Recognized status in
1998, 1999, 2001, and 2004, Mr. Cook joins Principal Kathy Nicholson
and the Crockett Elementary team. Congratulations Mr. Cook!
