WHS Senior Named Top Author in the National Council of Teachers

Kyle Graves submitted two pieces of writing last year as a junior, and received word this year that he won the award. He was only one of three WHS students who were eligible to be entered in the competition last year. This is the third year in a row that the WHS English Department has had a student to win this prestigious, national award.  This award is given by the National Council of Teachers of English and provides eligibility for other writing scholarships.  For more information about the organization giving the award, go online to www.ncte.org .
