Pat Hardy Named Teachers' Curriculum Institute Educator of the Year

Pat Hardy, WISD's Social Studies content coordinator, was honored as the outstanding Educator of the Year at the Texas Council for Social Studies Conference on October 1 in Dallas.  Hardy has been an educator for more than 30 years, beginning in Castleberry ISD before joining Weatherford ISD.  She is currently serving as the District 11 member of the Texas State Board of Education.  For more information about the organization that honored Ms. Hardy, go online to www.historyalive.com .
