693 CMAT I-Computer Multimedia and Animation Technology I (CMAT-TP) Two Semesters: Grades 10-12 Prerequisite: None Requirement for graduation - This course fulfills 1 credit of Technology Applications This course includes the use of computers for multimedia presentations and digital animation. Hands-on activities allow students to create, edit, and render characters, vehicles, scenes, or objects and to design and produce multimedia presentations that use images, video and audio resources to deliver a message. 694 CMAT II - Research, Design & Development (RDD) Two Semesters: Grades 11-12 Prerequisite: CMAT I This is a research activity course designed for students to pursue new knowledge and solve real world problems. Activities include writing, designing and producing video presentations utilizing computer animation and live video. 695 CMAT III - Problems and Solutions in Technology, (PST) Two Semesters: Grade 12 Prerequisite: CMAT I & II CMAT Problems and Solutions in Technology is a research activity course, which allows students to develop advanced technical knowledge and skills in solving problems in communications. |
